RECOMMENDED GENERAL SUPPLY LIST
FOR THIRD GRADE
It is important to give careful attention to size and other restrictions. Bookstore prices are unknown at this time.
1. NO PENCIL BOXES
2. *Third grade cursive writing paper – Primary paper with three holes can be purchased at the Parent Teacher Store. The school bookstore price is cheaper ($1.15 last year).
3. 1 1/2 (one and one-half inch) 3-ring vinyl binder (no padded binders or Trapper Keepers due to space)
4. One (1) pocket folder - no brads; bottom pockets; (These can be novelty folders.)
5. Wide-ruled notebook paper
6. Twelve (12) #2 yellow USA made pencils (they sharpen better); no mechanical or novelty pencils
7. Glue stick
8. Two (2) red pens
9. Pencil sharpener with lid to hold shavings – Make sure it sharpens.
10. Notebook subject dividers with pockets and index tabs (plastic preferred)
11. Block eraser
12. Colored pencils
13. 24 count crayons
14. A STURDY zipper pencil pouch with holes to hook into the front of the notebook.
15. Backpack – A sturdy, rolling backpack is highly recommended. Our books are heavy!
16. Agenda - The agenda should be purchased at the school bookstore. The cost is $3.50.
17. Weekly Reader - Please send $4.30 cash or check payable to Crieve Hall Elementary for a Weekly Reader subscription.
